The po boy was very good b/c of the bread! Authentic. The bbq shrimp that my wife got was a little shy on spice and not like the New Orleans version we are used to. Great atmosphere and good service. We will return.

We had dinner at the Magnolia Grill tonight and it was awesome. The patio was cozy & warm while offering a special sunset view. Staff was pleasant and reasonably attentive. We both ordered the shrimp poorboy and were pleasantly surprised by a hoagie with jumbo fried shrimp. Very tasty.

I had the blackened catfish lunch special with a side salad and green beans. It was pretty good. Really liked the beans. Decent service. Sort of pricey but worth trying if you are under the hill in Natchez

Magnolia Grill is a MUST! One of the best meals we have had! The wait on Saturday was about 40 minutes, but well worth it. We got the best table in the house at the corner of the patio. Everyone was so friendly and smiles all the time. Cody was our server and he was awesome. The place was super busy but Cody was always coming by the table and we never waited long for anything! We decided to eat appetizers as our main course and WOW, it did not disappoint. My wife and I had a cup of Gumbo each. Sooo good! We ordered the fried green tomatoes with shrimp and crawfish with a Cajun Hollandaise sauce. Very very good. We then had the stuffed mushrooms and they were phenomenal. The portions are large. We even ended up taking a small to go box, really wanted to eat more but couldn't. Also took out drinks to go and walked the bluff. This place is a must. You can call ahead and get on a waitlist. Wish we woulda done that but the 40 minute wait was fun walking into a local shop and watching the Mississippi barges and the river cruise paddle wheeler. THANK YOU CODY and all the staff and cooks for making this such a great experience!

Stopped in for an early dinner. The ambiance was old - quaint. Our server was really good - no nonsense, friendly enough, and professional. My food was OK - not sure I ordered the right thing - it was as described, but I was hoping for a thicker, less buttery sauce. Would I order it again, yes.

Great waitress and even the cook came out to see us (made me feel extra special) Food was DEL-I-CI-O--Sooooooooooooo Was told it's an even better sight to see when the sun is setting off the Mississippi River, so of course I'll be returning soon.

The reviews were amazing, so off we went for lunch. Now let's me say, we didn't have a bad experience but not near as exciting as the reviews. You're thinking, Tammie, you gave it 4 stars. Only because there isn't a 3.5 and 3 was too low. Service: I don't recall her name but she had cranberry colored hair and several tats. She's good. Really good. App: fried green tomatoes. Delicious. It wasn't a party in my mouth but a good batter on a bit of a thicker slice than I'm accustomed to. A tangy hollindaise with shrimp and crawfish topped it. Mike and I shared a burger. Really good char grilled flavor. Mike ordered medium to medium well. It wasn't cooked evenly. One side was more like medium to medium rare and the other was medium. The buns were soft and pillowy. The toppings were top notch. Red onion that wasn't too strong, a juicy slice of tomatoes. The fries were a let down. Scant amount and some cheap frozen fries. Our aunt and uncle shared the bacon Swiss chicken sandwich. They pretty said what we did about our entire food experience. Good but not I can't wait to go back delicious. Their sweet potato fries were so much better than ours and they got twice the amount. I was so excited to see a coconut buttermilk pie on the menu. I was disappointed to find that it was a bit dry. We got two slices and we both agreed that the flavor was great, but the pie was dry. Is it possible it was baked earlier in the week? I don't know. But if it's that dry fresh, I can't imagine what it's like a couple of days later. All that to say. It's a good place for a decent burger, but I'm not sure we will return. Too many other places to try before going back somewhere that didn't wow us. Forgot to take pics of the entrees

Stopped at the Magnolia Grill during our visit to Natchez. It is located "Under the Hill" where the shady people used to hang out. We were seated promptly by a very nice young lady, and our order was taken promptly. My wife had shrimp & Grits, she said it was the best she ever had. (I'll take her word because I don't eat grits.) I had catfish Louisiane which was also very good. Chocolate Pecan pie for dessert was wonderful. We were seated on the enclosed porch so we could see the tugboats and barges going up & down the Mississippi. My only complaint is the parking is very tight in the Under the Hill area.

Ultimate casual dining in Natchez. Good comfort food with a local twist, and nice views of the Mississippi River. Server was really nice (a bit slow and had to ask for silverware), and had good recommendations, and was good with my toddler without making him the center of attention. (Appreciate that so much!) I had the pork tenderloin with steamed broccoli and baked potato, and added a cup of French onion. The soup made my toddler say "WOW" and ask for more and more. Everyone got different items to eat and everyone enjoyed it. If I lived here, I'd be back again and again.
